We are pleased to announce the 2024 merchant of the year!
Each year PHL Food & Shops hosts an elegant award ceremony for all of the merchants within the PHL Airport. It is an evening for us all to take a step back from daily operations and celebrate all of their accomplishments within the previous year. While only a few were awarded, the energy in the room was focused on acknowledging everyone collectively for their dedication and contributions to the program’s success.
Awards are given based on a few factors from customer service to airport involvement. Locations that have won a previous Merchant of the Quarter award are all eligible to take home the illustrious Merchant of the Year Award. This year a total of 9 awards were given out, see below.
- Outstanding Retail of the Year: InMotion, B/C Connector
- Outstanding Quick Service Restaurant: Gachi, Terminal E
- Outstanding Full-Service Restaurant: Chickie’s & Pete’s, Terminal D
- Sustainability: OTG
- Outstanding Guest Experience: Hudson, Terminal D
- Marketplace PHL Achievement Award: Esther Arulampalam, Executive Assistant
- Special Recognition: Department of Aviation Business Diversity & Accessibility
- Manager of the Year: Lauren Rago, Hudson Group
